13.00 BST Noticed the UK Border Force DRONE G-TEKV been up in , above the channel at 600 feet for a few hours , ( mainly because of the tailfin ) , looks like a P38 Lightning IMO.

Haven't seen anything interesting with my own eyes today, but I've noticed on several nights recently there are two or three aircraft on FR24 (I know...) making strange shapes out of Shawbury. Callsigns 'SYS' and then a number. Any ideas what they are? There are three of them out there now if anyone round there wants to pop out and have a listen

Noticed the Miles Falcon G-AEEG out for an airing from Biggin last night; boy was it busy yesterday, looks like more the same today. I wonder why? I hope the London-centric lock-down let-outs are keeping an eye for the busy P-68s mapping bits of London...

Very quiet Swiss King Air 200 doing N/S survey runs over London at 12000' - sure he was doing the same last summer - did they get the exposures wrong? Operating over Antwerp...
Speaking of surveys - there is a Danish P-68 doing N/S runs at <1000' over the Bristol Channel to the west of Lundy... what can he be surveying?

...and Spitfire TE308/G-AWGB has just launched from Biggin... probably a test flight rather than revenue yet I imagine.
Canadian registered PA-11 en-route Bordeaux/Cork or Shannon at 14000' over the Irish Sea... hmmm, I think it's more realistically a Cessna 208!

Hi Treadigraph.
Yes G-BSWC, caught it just as I was getting out of may car after shopping.
It was pretty low and a bit to the north of me, FR24 reports it as 500ft and history says it went to Benson.
I think it might actually have gone to Chiltern Air Park about 10km south of Benson?

The Red Arrows, back in the air today ; - HM.Gov 'Operation Cheer Everyone Up' ..
Here we are thought they were grounded for now, BUT the Red Arrows RA, back in the air ! The Cornwall HawkT1 crash last week 2 x crew safe , not an Arrow HawkT1 - thought all HawkT1's were grounded, anyway..
They call this a practice circuit, also called today ; as part of, HM.Gov 'Operation Cheer Everyone Up' I am told. And it's the RAAF 100th this week ...
Treated to a Red Arrow display / flyover this Wednesday morning as jets practice a route over Runnymede Air Force Memorial. The route – weather dependent as always – came down from Scampton via Bury St Edmunds and passed over areas of West London before heading home to Lincolnshire. The timings all went well, the Red Arrows passed over Watford and Uxbridge just after 11am. The ‘practice’ formation flight around England took about an hour, passed over Berkshire and Northampton. Overhead Bracknell loud and proud at 11.10 BST :-)
RA 31/3/21 VIDEOS here NOTAMS below Enjoy ... :-) ;
