Might have been a belated 9-11 tribute but the four Nanchangs CJ-6 trainers were back over Belleville, Florida joined by several other rare birds - a Pitts & Stearman/Great Lakes pair, an Enstrom or Brantly helicopter and finally a Cessna foursome (not pictured).

Now with smoke!

It's an Enstrom (around 350 on the US register, compared to about 50 Brantlys).

Agusta Westland AW109 Royal Air Force GZ100 2000 feet 16:15 BST E>W , @ West Bracknell , seem to originate from Sloane Square London area FR24 ? on Battle of Britain Day . Now BST16:36 ~ 3700 feet heading to the west country ie past Basingstoke , Salisbury.

Didn't see it, but a 737MAX G-TUMF flew from Malaga to Birmingham at FL180, crossing the Channel at almost the narrowest point. rather than the more conventional Channel Islands-IoW. Are MAXs scared of water AND thin air?

Perhaps a ferry flight from where it might have been stranded after Boeing stopped them flying. That might explain the low-ish level and flightpath.

It's been at Tenerife since the grounding began, stopped off at Malaga on its way back to Birmingham yesterday.

No, the only Max aircraft on the UK register are the six TUI aircraft, all now at MAN/BHX.

Thanks for the info. What happens now ? Are they to be scrapped, or made airworthy again with some new super-duper software ?

I'd be very reluctant to try to predict what the future holds for the Max, in European airspace at least.

There is a fourship trail of Dutch and Belgian C-130s, something German and a French Atlas assing about at low level to the NW of Eindhoven. Anniversary?

Ah, can now see Spitfire PH-OUQ and B-25 PH-XXV as well...
