Whilst out looking for shooting stars this morning near BHX, I saw a relatively slow moving (compared to, say, a satellite) but flashing object, moving roughly west to east, in the vicinity of the gemini constellation. ADS-B shows nothing at all in the area, including military. It could, i suppose, be a satellite but it definitely appeared to flash, and not just a 'white' light.
Can anyone shed any light?
EDIT: I guess a time would help - about 06:50

I saw a flashing object about an hour after sunset a few weeks ago - moving roughly SE/NW very slowly and the flashes were too infrequent to have been strobes. I got the impression of something revolving and reflecting the sun.

My first thought would be Iridium Flare satellite, but direction would be wrong?

I've seen a couple of Iridium flares, they are very different and I think you just see one flash?
The last two mornings I have been rudely awoken by the NHS A340 flights coming into Bournemouth. The first one was from New York and yesterday's arrival at 0615 was from China, no doubt with another load of PPE. Arriving that early they both carried out procedure approaches onto 26, the latter one in very low cloud and rain.

Possibly, or perhaps a spent booster tumbling?

I could hear a large turboprop droning NW over London at about 1230pm - couldn't see anything on ADSB, though a USN Herc followed much the same route a couple of mins later - pretty sure that wasn't what I could hear! Had a Canadian C-130 drone over here just now out of Gatters - just abeam Prestwick now...

AN-26 UR-CSK, just about audible from South Croydon as it turned eastwards over London!

Airbus Beluga F-WBXL has just landed at NCL after a few circuits - saw it briefly on approach, but too much rain for a decent photo. Looking at FR24, it appears to be a diversion from EMA.

Passed just west of London around 0940 - I was standing in a local park gossiping with an old colleague then and facing that direction - I saw quite a few vapour trails, might have actually seen it! On it's way back south now, pretty grey here now.
