AN-30 just passed over, audible but invisible in the haze! Slovakian C-27 heading this way...

I see the E-4 passed over eastern Kent and looks like its heading into Aviano.

Friend reported 6 piston-engined aircraft passing Worthing in an easterly direction around 10.30am.

It seemed to stay very low all the way until Dungeness and then go back to altitude. Nice for the Kent skywatchers.

In the last 15mins I have been graced with a GAF CH-53, A Czech AF Mil-8, Mil-24(?) Hind at low-level (600ft) over London and a RoAF AN-30 somewhat higher up purring along, at least in Antonov terms. Fairford kicking everyone out, was it any good this year ?

I watched it come back round only for it to go around again and head north. It then appeared to be lining up for Guangzhou Baiyan airport was down to about 2,500ft then disappeared.

Any ideas what happened, or was it an erroneous trace? The winds at Hong Kong were a little bit gusty.

Thanks in advance.

Are you sure about the flight number? Cayman Airways would need a few fuel stops to get any of their birds to HK.

Try Kargo Xpress (Malaysian carrier with 737Fs).

Anyone any idea what went screaming over Reading town centre yesterday (18th) late morning.
Unfortunately I was stuck in a shop till queue at the time and just heard it, sounded pretty much a low flying fighter type.
It drew OOOHS !! and AAAHS !! from a bunch of kids outside.

I had the pleasure of listening to a civilian C130 yesterday. It was over Tonbridge 10km from me and at 22,000 ft .

Mind you, if it had ben an A400M, I would have needed my ear defenders LOL

A normal An-24 overhead London at lunchtime today, Birmingham to Europe as ever. Audible and visible, glinting in the sun as it passed. Given the accident at the weekend to the An-12 in Greece, which I had watched pass on the same routing 10 days previously, and presuming that the Ukrainian Antonov crews likely all know one another, somewhat poignant.

Hi…..Think that it may have been one or more of the Red Arrows Hawks! Watched one,(the only one transmitting on Adsb), route out of Fairford, eastbound towards Farnborough. Some short time later it was northbound towards Leighton Buzzard around 2000ft. This could have taken it over Reading, Timeline fits as well looking at RIAT departures.
