2nd just taken off, probably the 2 a/c that were meant to go back to Minot yesterday. 2 KC-135's from Poland have launched, likely to meet up over North sea, refuel the B52's to allow them to return to US.

Thanks Big Eric....misty eyes on my part, over the loss of the BA747's, contributing to my error!

Something rear engined and T-tail, heading North East over Herefordshire just now. A real "ghost of VC10" moment.

Heading N on the A15 in terrible vis this afternoon I was buzzed by a Hughes 269 skimming under the overcast. Didn't know there were any on the UK register?

Lots of gliders from Southdown GC taking advantage of the northerly breeze to slope soar along the South Downs yesterday. Would have been fun walking along the SD Way, if a little chilly...

Is that the last flying Meteor, or did a few others survive overseas ? Whichever, what a brilliant aircraft to have seen in this day and age!

Others have mentioned about this in "Military Aviation" section too. Also RAF 2 x P8's both up and about.

Interesting to see Skyvan C-FARA appears to be doing night para drops from 1250' over Weston-on-the-Green apparently lifting from Brize.

This just pottered past our bedroom/office window in Solihull, doing approaches into BHX by the looks of things...!

https://www.flightradar24.com/data/aircraft/g-tacn - Flight Calibration Services. That sounds like a fun job!

Don't think I've seen one before - looks nice!

Over in Lightwater today and was just out in the garden putting compost into pots for my aunt when I heard the unmistakable sound of a Merlin. MkIX G-PBIX on a sortie out of Biggin over somewhere near Newbury. Just out of sight unfortunately but a lovely sound...

Three Mildenhall-bound C-135s in quick succession and almost over the top of me in blue sky - an RC followed by two KCs (and the Sunshine Band)...

Saturday afterrnoon walking along Hayling Island beach I was repeatedly flown past by Goodwood's Harvard IIB, someone enjoying aviation as it used to be. I presumed doing circuits but then chugged off towards Pompey.
