Two of those Kingairs were describing ever decreasing circles over Norfolk the other night - a pair of Apaches were operating underneath, also a USAF C-130 or V-22, I forget which...

Another day, another Antonov, this time an An124 from Hamilton to Hahn it says... missed a personal sighting...

...and I see the daily dose of 12 has just droned by - missed that too!

There’s a QRA Typhoon tracking towards the South Coast at the moment. Looks like he’s following a French Air Force TBM700?

Just looking at that also - TBM had a bit of a wander round Forest of Bowland. Interesting... radio failure?

Voyager positioning for tanking mid-channel and the Typhoon is knocking off short of the French coast...

Typhoon now at 40000' heading north across Eastbourne - tanker appears unneeded - or sustaining summat else.

They usually operate in pairs I think? Maybe he's tanking the number two?

Perhaps, or just there in case refuelling needed - tanker is now off north Norfolk coast.

Please to see one of the Biggin two seat Spits just getting airborne. Wish I'd been up on the common, might have heard it. I understand the Collings Foundation Curtiss TP-40N is joining the fleet at Biggin!

RAF C17 has just flown up to the Faroe Islands, done a few circuits then come back home.

Don't think I've ever seen military movements there, nevermind the RAF.

Any ideas what it was doing?

I’d imagine they’re looking for somewhere a bit different for some training circuits, having been to most U.K. civil airports over the past year? They’re regulars down at Jersey these days....

The sun is in his heaven and I see an AN-12 inbound Brum and a U-2 outbound Fairford (and I say to myself, what a wonderful world...)

An124 over Didcot being chased by THY 787. Honestly, I know it's just white lines in the sky.

Antonov looked good through my 15x70 binoculars. Pity I couldn't capture that image.

Do my eyes deceive me or has DC-3 G-ANAF just thundered eastwards a few miles south of my abode - out of White Waltham it appears... ?
