Interesting aircraft - what have you seen on your computer today?
Woken up in the early hours today in East Anglia by rain and wind lashing against the house - or was it the slowly increasing drone of the AN-12 battling the headwind into East Mids (I suspect). Checked on FR24 and was amazed at how many "freight-dogs" are up and about plying their trade at that unearthly hour. Ah well, nothing for it but to roll over and back to zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!

Hmmm, Belarus (it says here) AN-12 just thundered over London out of Brum - I didn't know whose prefix EW- is and had to look it up...
It sounded lovely, just the thing to brighten up the day, albeit at the end. I don't think I've 'seen' this one before, must be because the Ukraine examples are busy doing the oil equipment runs of late.

RC-135 launched from Mildenhall, climbed to 17000 over Cambridge, now holding at 3000' over my sister's house near Diss - that'll please her! Presume it has a tech prob.

French Merlin III heading down towards Worthing - one of those types that was never that common a sight in the UK (Belgian AF at Northolt and the Fairoaks based pair I recall) but as rare as hen's teeth these days it seems...

Voyager and Typhoon look like they are getting intimate at 28000 over Somerset - just about to pass over Shaftsbury...
Shetland Island Council BN2 Islander just clawed its way northwards over North Yorkshire at a pedestrian 130kts, should be home by Friday. I spotted a Hebridean Airways BN2 southbound a few weeks ago. I presume these island birds are heading south for scheduled maintenance, does anyone know who has the contract?

Had an Airbus Atlas rattle low overhead last night, managed to see it all lit up as it passed over and then headed towards Oxford then Brize.
FR24 showed it had originated from N Africa, so possible Raab heading home from his Sudan trip?

Just noticed an IL-76, RA-76511, on its way from Stansted to Liverpool - interesting routing!
