A US Homeland Security Casa 212 has just passed London after coming down the country from Wick and Transatlantic crossing. Staying at 9,000ft, so I wonder if they are ferrying it to the factory for repair with a pressurisation issue ?

I just happened to be passing Mildenhall and Lakenheath today. They had the usual KC135's, RC135's C130's and F15's blasting around.

The 212 isn't pressurised. You do get some odd US government aircraft about, I recall seeing a civil Dash 7 flogging across into Europe a few years ago. Can't recall which department operated it. Looks like he's heading into Brussels.

Not terribly recently but I got to see the NASA SOFIA aircraft overhead (registration N747NA) last fall whilst commuting home in the southwest corner of Colorado where we live. Just a strikingly pretty planform, I wasn't used to seeing such a stubby fuselage on such long wings !

Watched an AN-2 stagger off and fly around on Sunday.
Disappointed my 18 month old grandson is missing out on Pitch Black this year, courtesy of Covid. Should have been showing him F/A-18 A, B, F and G, F-15, F-16, Su-30, Rafaele, Gripen, F-35, C-17, C-27 and A-400 amongst others.

I've got an RAF Sentinel orbiting me at 41000' - should I be worried?
Phew, he's gone!
Two A400s in at Gatwick this morning, one now droning round the patch at Southampton, the other has been to Edinburgh and now heading further north.
