Just seen a Qatar Cargo flight on Flight Radar 24 Panama City to Liege.

what sort of cargo would be coming from Panama City?

Is that a regular?

Seems a regular run, Quito-Panama-Liege-Doha.

Liege, despite being a smallish city, has a lot of cargo traffic and a few companies use it as a hub. The airport has nice long runways from its days as the Belgian Air Force Base Bierset.

It's a bit like EMA, but without the PAX traffic......thinking about it, at the moment it's a lot like EMA!!

...Which allows them to offer cargo services to Europe, in the form of the interlinked cargo hub of Liege. Ker-ching! And perhaps import famous Belgian delicacies (minus the beer of course) into Qatar.

Emirates use Maastricht in much the same way as Qatar does Liege. The latter are also to be seen in MST.
