Survey planes

I've notice a lot of small planes on Flightradar24 making repeated tracks over areas of northern Europe today, as though they are farmers ploughing fields. Notably, the UK, Denmark, Germany, northern France and Belgium. Wondered if this is something to do with coronavirus? Or is it just that they are, more likely, aerial survey planes and more noticeable because there is little other aviation in the sky? But if they are survey planes, why are they still flying given that most of these countries are locked down?

Perhaps taking advantage of the nearly clear sky to do what ever the are doing ? Mapping in cloudless conditions with few ATC restrictions must be like heaven for the operators. They might, of course, be spying on all the good citizens not abiding by the coronavirus restrictions :-)
