LAA Rally Sywell 2020

Hi all

I am thinking of attending this rally at Sywell for the first time this year. I just have a few queries about this event. Their website is still advertising the 2019 event.

How much is it to attend and to gain access to the aircraft? There is no admission fee on their website for 2019.
I shall be travelling down by car from Manchester. What time do the gates open? Do I need to arrive early doors?
How many aircraft attend the show on any particular day?

Kind regards

Len

I don't think the admission fees changed last year from those of 2018 listed here:
Welcome to the Light Aircraft Association

I think the gates normally open at 0900 with aircraft arrival slots from 0800

I went with a spotting mate a couple of years ago. I wish I'd gone to earlier ones! I logged 300+ airframes, and still didn't get the lot.
Access is easy, and attendees are treated as adults. No need for hi-vis or to be herded around. As long as you keep you wits about you,
respect the aircraft and especially stay away from moving propellers, you'll be left to enjoy the spectacle. Can't wait for this years show!
