Work on Boeing 707-320C
Learned contributors,
assuming 1 shift working c8 hour shift per day how long would it take
A) To do a full strip and repaint on a Boeing 707-320C ?
B) To carry out a full D check on the same aircraft ?
Assume paint scheme is fairly simple white top, mono colour cheat line and fin with logo.
Thanks for your time and trouble.

At BCAL we used to do a 707 D check in 6 weeks, but that was with 30+ people on days and 15+ on nights working 6/7 days a week 12 hours shifts. This usually included a paint job.
So I guess with your one shift doing 8 hour days you would be looking at 12+ weeks depending on how many people you have.

Presume your time is also affected by what your D check finds. Perhaps 20 years ago it might not be much, but if your working on present day and aircraft age you might have numerous jobs to do. Is this a text book project or are you planning a resurrection!
