OMG. Never noticed that before. Put an “a” where there should be a “u”. Outstanding. Sounds like a BW operation...

Never heard of AerMoon. Given what I do for a living that speaks volumes... Just reading their website, and gaped at:

Quote: we can actually tell you a Boeing from an Airbus aircraft

Is this guy inferring that other lessors can't??
That's just scratching the surface of the talents of the founder, James Moon.
AerMoon appears to be part of the James Moon Group. Other activities of the Group include a philanthropic arm, branding, consulting, coaching, start-up hubs...

Then there's TailHail - an membership based aircraft charter platform that aims to make 'flying privately accessible, affordable and sustainable for all.' Packages start at just 495 per year

BW is an amateur in comparison!

Wow.

Unsworth has competition for his smoke and mirrors with those two.

Shaping up to be an entertaining Autumn chaps.

Firstly, its brave to have a username with the initials BW on this thread!

In answer to your questions:
1) Mix of delusion, misguided ambition, combined with the 'opportunities' that keep presenting themselves in the form of distressed airlines. I'm sure the 'Atmosphere Group UK' has some distance left to run yet.
2) Its a rolling, 24/7 news cycle over on social media. Sit back, relax and enjoy the show. And as tempting as it may seem at times, think twice before investing.

I don’t think BW would be so self aware as to refer to himself as a w*nker 😉

Just a quick observation for those still following this sad, sorry state of a saga - but it goes without surprise that Atmosphere is yet again late filing documents at Companies House.

The pattern of "utter shambolic lack of business acumen" continues.

According to the wonder kids website Atmosphere now has start up capital in the bank as well as the backing of a leading covid recovery fund, meaning that they can 'take things to the next level!' His twitter feeds are still full of the usual retweets or miscellaneous rubbish and his website is still claiming that Beckenham House is still being refurbished but that hasn't stopped him from advertising for loads of different staff. A little while ago he had claimed that they would have their first two aircraft in Sept so we shouldn't have too long to wait for the sensational launch of Atmofarce.

This week our Jas has got a new favourite topic, Afghanistan. He seems to think that he could have done better than the UK and US governments although his advice seems to start and finish with calling them all idiots, oh and that we should send more soldiers.

Well I would suggest that the best course of action would be for him to volunteer to go out there and put things right.

Only, in a very short while we should not hear from him again, ever.
Which would deprive us of his amusing company.

When you look at the directors one is, amazingly, what looks to be his mother!! What an amazingly spoilt brat he must be to have had his mother involve herself in such a risky enterprise - risky from the standpoint that if one of the airlines he misrepresents will have enough and sue the business and the directors which could leave mummy with a somewhat depleted bank account.

Well, even if he isn't - I will be. I'll keep a good look out for him.

Any message from us PPRUNE'rs to pass on if I bump in to him in any of the break out areas?

Probably just give him your coat, but be sure to hang on to the claim ticket he gives you. Some loose change as a tip at the end of the day is usually appreciated.

He's obviously recovered from his recent bout of norovirus and is back in la-la land once more.

IIRC a few months ago he claimed that he would be getting two aircraft in Sept so he'll soon be able to prove all his nay sayers wrong.
