Whilst I understand your thinking Stu666, perhaps it's not particularly respectful at this present moment to encourage JU to start up his aviation histrionics again.

Yes, mercifully so.

Reckon he knows any talk about him and TC would attract much raucous laughter both from us here and the wider aviation community.

I suspect he is completely immune to the real world. Remember he thinks of himself as the misunderstood genius, he is right whilst all of us are just naysayers.

In that respect he is like Oleg “I AM RIGHT, YOU ARE MORON” - he has the same condition I would wager.

Nothing we could say here will encourage or discourage him. He lives in his own little world.

Perhaps it was a little in poor taste, I was genuinely surprised though. Apologies for any offence.

Hopefully our hero has been spoken to or is finally on the meds he needs.

I was going to post an appropriate response except thatI cannot think of an appropriate response to a plonker that believes having some classroom piece of paper qualifies him to be recruiting and employing airline CEO's

And I've worked at STN twice during my career, 1987-1988 and 2001-2002, and I've never heard of this plonker who claims to have worked for several airlines there.

P.S. There's some German geezer from Thomas Cook, he might make himself available for CEO for half a million or so

You’re going to love this thread, Harry (welcome to the mad world of 7ason U)....

a plonker that believes having some classroom piece of paper qualifies him to be recruiting and employing airline CEO's
it gets better than that. Said plonker appoints himself CEO of other people’s airlines as wel!

Dear Mr Unworth, In reply to your twitter post, I wish to apply for the post as CEO for your new airline. I have an NVQ in pants folding from when I worked at Skidma primark. Would a salary IRO £350,000 plus bonuses and share options be reasonable to expect given my previous experience in airline management? Oh! and how's the wife?

Yes, but the final date was January 16, he's a complete idiot. Ive made it clear to anyone who contacted him. I think he needs help for mental health problems rather than abuse.

Three of our heroes Twitter accounts have been restricted for some reason but he is still writing tweets using many of his other accounts. His current obsession is immigration and jumping on the bandwagon with anyone who disagrees with government policy purely because he can't match the criteria set to allow his wife and second child into the UK. He thinks that as he earns considerable more than the min wage (IIRC he stated that he earns £19000), he can afford to keep his wife and two children. I thought that a CEO of a major start up would be earning at least £100,000 but maybe he hasn't been able to move on from Primark yet. He also switched allegiance to the LibDems in the last election despite then being pro EU and him being pro Brexit, because they pledged to change immigration laws which he would then benefit from. Lastly he has also been in touch with some of the companies attempting to bid for Jet which I am sure they appreciated.

A few of them last year had confirmed that they had received correspondence, but the principle player, Qatar airways, despite JU stating he was meeting their senior management to "hammer out" a rescue deal for Jet Airways, confirmed on the record that they had not responded to his letter once it was determined to be vexatious, let alone even arrange any meetings.

The truth is, anyone can write a letter to a company with what on paper might look like a good idea, but when the initial enquiries hit the inevitable brick wall, large companies will not even waste their time with a one line "Dear John" note!
