For the first time ever, meet the Boy Wonder!
He actually talks like he writes. “Aircrafts” indeed.

What’s blatantly obvious is he has no substantive ideas about how Jet can be saved, just some vague idea about charging for bags. Which will push the airline into loco territory, putting massive downward pressure on his yields. Making the problem infinitely worse.

No one could sensibly proceed with this - all the Indian banks will do is delay the inevitable for a short while, and also make the final death of Jet much more messy and painful.

The only yield he knows is the sign when merging onto another road. Perhaps I am deluded, but don’t get the impression he’s tweeting “ideas” and “solutions” as much now as before? Seems like he’s just re-tweeting other peoples’s tweet? Again, could be wishful thinking...

I think you’re right - that fits with my reading of the situation. It also fits with the idea that he has created a monster of publicity that he can’t control, so the myriad retweets are him trying to get control of the runaway train (‘scuse the mixed metaphor) - either by changing the subject or just burying stuff with other stories.

I dunno. That was a slick bit of PR - he really made an effort to dress up, and he spoke so knowledgeably about how to turn Jet around. I was almost ready to believe him 😂

How the hell can boy blunder get away with this level of BS in our educated world. And if he’s found finance, would they be willing to lend me a few bucks for my loco all first class airline based on Waitrose?

I truly feel for the workers who see him as their saviour.

I found him totally incredible in the classical sense of the word .... his appearance, wearing earphones and making no sense at all. His command of Estuary English is perhaps commendable but he doesn't seem able to string a sentence together let alone make any valid points in relation to the interviewer's questions. Smoke and mirrors.

It's very interesting reading this thread, and his tweets. Tweeted by his wife 'Atmosphere Airlines has acquired an office building presently under construction in Pattaya, Thailand, located 1 hour from Bangkok centre & 20 min from Utapao Airport the building will consist of a hotel for crew & customers and a pilot, & cabin crew training center.' Which people are saying is an 18 Million Baht per unit residential complex. How much longer this can go on for is any bodies guess.

It’s such a shame that pathetic news station in India gave him oxygen... I blame them more than “boy blunder” (great term by who ever invented it!) for stringing along helpless Jet employees and families.

We are reaching peak Dagenham (three stops past Barking)....

Talk of A380s, and a love in with Oleg (can't they find a room??) and what looks like a major cull of all of us who dare to question his omniscience.

His plan now seems to be to hold 76% of the shares (more than a non Indian national is allowed to in an Indian AOC) with EY getting the rest (we can't use their full name can we?)

So he's expecting one of the world's major airlines to sit back and watch a failed check in agent, former fast food staff and a Primark worker to manage their multimillion dollar investment.

Yeah. Makes perfect sense.

Get the screens, and that funny jacket, nurse.

I just watched that news video. I really don’t get what his plan is. ( and I don’t mean about Jet.). I can’t work out what he is hoping to achieve by any of this. He really does live on another planet.

This is an allegation that could land Jason in some
hot water given that in other tweets he’s described the accounts as ‘harassment’ and has tagged the police and even the Prime Minister.

I know that David was blocked by JU months ago, but JU keeps making these unsubstantiated claims; screen prints are being sent to David....

In the meantime, Unsworth may be being sued by the winner of 'Iraq's Got Talent'....

Harassment greater than fraud?

No idea what the laws are on parody (“harassment”) vs harassment. Tw1tter and L1nked1n hopefully can see one from the other. Hopefully David can do something and shut the fraudster down.

Proof

Proof that he is a liar or a fantasist or just stupid. Or some combination thereof.

Keeping all the staff, including the crew sets for the 120 aircraft they had when they closed, whilst flying only 40 (39, 38, 37....) aircraft.

His overheads will be vastly too high.

So which is it? Is he lying to the staff? Living in a fantasy where conventional airline economics don’t apply? Or is he just too stupid to understand this basic stuff?

Or all the above?

He doesn’t need to understand much; he just needs to understand more than his willing victim(s). And people are pining for hope and that this “great”, British “entrepreneur” will help them. There is no shortage of innocent, gullible, desperate Jet folks who will believe almost anything.

Why do these people live their lives on social media?

The PNR is there and so is their surname. Makes it easy for any Tom, Dick or TwinAisle to have loads of fun with their booking.....

Unbelievable but Jason is down as a speaker at the CASEA conference at U Tapao this August as CEO of Atmosphere Intercon Airlines.
