Line crossed for sure. An evil little sh1t who needs to be stopped right now.
Many of us (inc me) have up until now used our industry knowledge and networks to confirm his words to be lies; we now need to close his mouth for good. Maybe we’ve enjoyed the fun for longer than we should have - let’s finish him soonest.

I have to say, I've been following young Jason's escapades on LinkedIn for the past two or three years, but only very recently found this gem of a thread. Never really wanted to comment, as he blocks anyone not agreeing with him.
However, as delusional and distasteful his recent tweets might be, I don't think a witch hunt is in order. I seriously doubt he is as vile and as calculated as people here might think. If he was, he wouldn't be making an idiot of himself publicly. Real scammers and players know how to take your money without you even noticing long after they are gone.
Unfortunately I think he is genuinely convinced he is a CEO of an international company and that he can really make a difference in this case with Jet Airways. My opinion is that he is just pathologically delusional and needs professional help.

Over the past decade or so I've had a couple of businesses and for the past 6 years a self-employed hotelier, I and my business(s) have to put up with all sorts of nonsense, not just in online reviews but on social media, these wannabee travel journalists and their blogs, all sorts and not once have I blocked anyone, if they are mistaken I take the time to correct them, to state the facts, sometimes with humour and sometimes without, and I believe that to be the correct business minded method to deal with things.
I would consider a blocker to be a coward, someone that is knowingly trying to hide from the facts and truth.

An interesting point of view, I have to say that I know very little of the character but you are, in part, defending him yet what sticks out like a sore thumb is, as you say, he blocks any person that doesn't agree with him.

I wouldn't go so far and call my post "defending him"... I read 97% of his posts with my mouth wide open thinking is this really happening and re-examining my own sanity. The other 3% of his posts are just disappointing general irrelevant BS.
What I was trying to say was that I genuinely think there is an underlying pathological condition present in this case and it should be dealt with properly, not with a witch hunt.
His pal "Oleg E" is probably quite the opposite...

Maybe we should all get down to Stansted this morning and watch flight 8X530 departing for Tenerife at 10:30. Or, for the late risers go and watch the departure of 8X007 to Kilimanjaro at 14:35!

Diagnosis
There is a convention amongst psychiatrists known as the Goldwater rule - not to make public diagnoses from afar and without patient permission. The rule arose after US Presidential candidate Barry Goldwater lost in what many observers judged to be a campaign prejudiced by remote comments on mental health. Interestingly, many members of the American Psychiatric Association (APA) have stepped away from this rule in regards to Trump - but that's for another thread.
Is Jason Mad, Bad or Sad? To an extent it's immaterial, he is mendaciously leading vulnerable people on a dance and in so doing creating false hopes. Having worked in Silicon Valley, as well as an aviator and physician what I sense here is a 'fake-it-til-you-make-it' drive, which is a growing norm and aspirational role model - a few succeed until the fakery is exposed (Theranos, Fyre), most don't.
I think Jason believes by that saying that which he and others wish to believe (as often as possible), he creates reality. Is that Mad - possibly. Sad - most certainly. Bad - that is in the behest of authorities. However, I believe the PPRUNE community has a Duty to Warn - oddly the name taken by those of the APA suggesting Trump is unfit to lead.
As for Oleg E...I might break the rule.

Regarding that Oleg guy... He seems to be Jason's biggest cheerleader. Scrolling through his posts, I noticed he starts with praising our young Jason, but a few replies down he seems to substitute "he" (as in Jason) for "me" or "I" (as in Oleg) in his posts.
No point in assuming anything, but this Oleg person is probably just hoping to skim off the top in case there are actually people crazy enough and willing to give money to our young and gullible Jason...

That post about the suicide is despicable. Line well and truly crossed. I suspect that JU will fall very quickly and very soon - he is now stating on LI that he has investors for Jet and that "we" (sic) will resume operations on May 10. When they don't, he is toast.

This Oleg E chap.
Is it this one?
Oleg E. sucht neuen Germania-CEO auf LinkedIn - Austrian Aviation Net
Wanted to take over Germania?
Looks similarly deluded.

That's him. Many incredibly arrogant and offensive posts. Airline managers are in the main 'morons' and what is needed is 'someone with my talents...'
Quotes:
About Jet:
About Thomas Cook:
About Lufthansa:
About Boeing and the MAX:
And his modest management style:
Couple this with his adoration of the Boy Wonder, and I think the best advice would be - look at what Oleg thinks and do the opposite.

Quotes:
About Jet:
I has pointed out about a month ago that extremely dumb people were running the airline. But now after close look just realised that they own 10 planes - 777-300.. This is absolutely unbelievable- such idiots .. And this is the Indian biggest company..
It's a pleasure that at least a few people are able to follow my advice. Any serious investor can contact me on this matter. Brilliant improvement plan is ready in all details.
its an unprofessional company)! Our "Luxury Brand Air" will collect all Lufthansa business clients in the 1st month of operations.. Do not waste time anymore- call me to check about financing conditions we offer to INVESTORS..
Lufthansa: time to buy Sukhoi Superjets
successful commercial use of this plane is absolutely impossible. My strong advice to Boeing: STOP production of this model or you will collapse entire Boeing company soon..
You have to understand finally: in Aviation you either listen to my advice or collapse billions of shareholders euros..

Stone the crows - another one!
If it weren't for the dishonesty and flagrant false claims/ scams and downright dastardly behaviour - these two could form a double act.
But with the recent events (I'm referring to be abhorrent Jet tweet attempting to gain publicity off the bat of a poor individual's suicide) it's time to close them both down. For Low-lifes they be.

Serious Fraud Office - pay attention...
I am in aviation equity finance and have financed start-up companies in the past. I am personally incentivised to help finance aviation-related companies so: (1) even I would run a mile from this person and (2) I am “surprised” he hasn’t reached out to me or my firm for a meeting (not that I would waste my time having one)... Investors don’t invest in companies per se; we invest in experienced management who have their own capital at risk first. This guy is just smart enough to know better than to approach a serious investor; he will prey on less knowledgeable folks.
This is, as we all know, a risky business. I’ll admit I invested in Wow Air - new airline by someone with no direct aviation experience but he/the airline had some key attributes: (1) success in previous businesses, (2) invested his own money - a lot of it, (3) initially grew carefully (but then too quickly), (4) had a unique business model (not for everyone), (5) hired, paying of out of his own pocket, experienced aviation folks.
I would like to shut this Atmosphere bloke down asap before he hurts anyone (financially). Whether he is genuine or not (I suspect the latter), he has no experience attempting to run a large airline. Some joker/accomplice on LinkedIn called Oleg E is promoting this Unsworth character too so he should be investigated as well.
The shame of it all is that we collectively give this guy PR and - to mis-quote Oscar Wilde - the only thing worse than bad PR is no PR...
Someone asked about “pie in the sky” airlines. Google: Avatar Airlines, LV Rising, Odyssey Airlines and Moon Aviation (by no means a complete list). They all promise the, er, moon but none has experienced aviation management. Oh, and none has taken off despite the market being on fire for the last 10-12 years. One of the “CEOs” mentioned above accosted me at a conference and - no joke - asked me with a straight face if I would either invest in his company or hire him into my company and wanted to give me both his business plan and cv...
The “good” news is that it unlikely Atmosphere will ever raise enough cash to do anything so the ability to rip off too many folks is hopefully limited. I hope no one quits his/her current job to join him.

Er, yes, but I would not say that any of us here have given him anything that could be construed as good PR. The opposite in fact.
Apart from Jason's own posts here which number... I am not sure now.

Got to agree with Auxtank. The Boy Wonder is a publicity whore and anything we have said or done makes little difference, except hopefully to warn people about him.
It’s interesting to note that on LI he even likes comments from people who are criticising him - I can only assume this is some sort of publicity seeking as well.
His crazy rate of posting is worthy of note. Given all multitude of channels he has posted at an average rate of 320 items PER DAY. Assuming he sleeps that’s 20 an hour, or one every three minutes - day in day out. That’s got to be obsessive behaviour.
He needs to be stopped but I suspect we’re close to end game. His latest - to have Jet as his own and flying again by May 8 - is ludicrous, and will be shown to be so. Then where does he go?

I learned a while back that journos do NOT want to deal with crazies (Trump excepted). There is a freak called Nicole Guihaume who sends out bizarre rants in broken English to the aviation (and perhaps beyond) community. I asked a couple of journos to write on her and they both declined. Why waste time and column inches on people who will eventually disappear? Plus these folks crave attention and will call/harass journos forever...
