ATC speed restrictions throughour descent
Hi,
I came across a scenario recently, at which I don't quite know the answer to (note that I'm mainly wondering regarding European airspace, and not the US):
So, let's say we're flying into an airport that is fairly busy, so, we get speed control. Initially ATC gives us 300kts on conversion, during descent, and a bit later, at around FL200, tells us to fly 260kts or greater. So far so good. But what about when we pass FL100? Should we still fly 260kts or greater, because he told us to, (although, he never told us, e.g. high speed approved, or something similar)? Or should we still respect the 250kts below FL100 rule, and thereafter resume normal speed unless he tells us anything in specific.?
Thanks in advance!

Intruder, FYI the OP clearly states that the question is being asked for European and not US airspace.
Levelmind, in the scenario you provide I wouldn't second guess but request confirmation from ATC.
