8A does, 9A doesn't.

Seat Guru is a good guide.

Are you sure ?

TUI's have one fewer window at the front than some other operators' B789s, but that's because they have a toilet immediately forward of L2/R2. Apart from that, the only other non-window in the forward cabin is common to all B789s where (I assume) the air con duct goes up the sidewall, but that looks to be about Row 6 or 7.

The only comment SeatGuru makes about Row 9 is its limited recline.

9A does have a window, but, has limited recline and close to the galley and loo.

Sorry for the confusion!

Having looked at a photo of their Premium cabin, it would appear that rows 5 and 6 have window limitations. 8 & 9 are fine (other than the recline on 9).

Very wise, don't take our word for it.

ukdean Hmm, TBH I'm now doubting my own initial findings. What I thought was showing me the interior of a TUI B789 cabin in fact wasn't! Reverting back to careful study of photos and the seatguru seat plan, the position of where the main cabin starts on seat guru does not equate to what one sees on the photo in terms of door and wing positions. Have you tried a search on Airliners.net specifying Thomson/TUI B789 interiors?

Further investigation has given me a definite photo of a Thomson B788 Premium interior. On that aircraft the last Premium row is 7 and is windowless. If you now compare pictures of the B788 with the B789 it would seem that 8 & 9 should have windows.

Perhaps a kind member of a Thomson cabin crew might offer their opinion based on what they see every day? Could a link be posted to the Thomson private forum asking this question and asking members to post a reply here?

I think we have already established that the answer to the OP's question is Yes.

We travel frequently on the Thomson Dreamliners always in the premium cabin and I can confirm that all the 789 premium seats have windows, this is an improvement over the 788. Also I am certain that non of them have recline restrictions, due, in part at least, to the fact that all the forward cabin seats now use a sliding reclining mechanism which moves the squab forward as much as leaning the backrest to the rear.

However you should be aware of a significant defect in the 789 premium cabin due to the removal of a valuable relaxation area. On the smaller 788 there is a space behind the rearmost row which runs between the centre aircraft doors and this is great for exercising, stretching your legs or generally socialising. For me, an old fart with dodgy joints, this is wonderful. In the 789, due to the rearranged seating in the stretched fuselage this passageway is now in the rear cabin and, in addition to being busy with passing traffic, doubles as a galley.

In short, the benefits of the premium cabin are reduced as the crew actively stop passengers using the only remaining free space (by the front left hand door to the side of the forward galley) by cluttering it with their personal bags and cases so they can use it for their own purposes. If you have a choice, always go for the 788 version
