If you see the runway from that angle it is always better to go around.

Was this a non precision approach, become visual to the right of the centerline, did not make a great job of lining up with the runway, eventually decided to throw it away and try again?
Would not have met with the criteria for being on the center line in my company, (established on final approach, wings level no lower than 300ft) if you went chasing it like that crew appeared to it would be a trip for a chat without tea and biscuits!

Aeromexico Embraer 145 misses the runway when landing in Monterrey, Mexico
