Canadair CL-44 DRC

Anyone out there know which Brit magazine published an article about the CL-44 crash in the DRC in 2002?

I do not have the information you are asking about re the magazine. Are you asking about c/n37 7Q-YMS which suffered a heavy landing and never flew again?
Many CL-44s flew into DRC.....and for various reasons were broken up there

More likely he means 9Q-CTS of Skymaster, which force-landed in the jungle following an engine fire on 17th February 2002 and never flew again.

7Q-YMS was damaged beyond repair in a fire at Kinshasa on 14th April 2000, so couldn't have been involved in a 2002 accident.
