Aircraft over Copthorne early hours of this morning

A friend of mine who is very anti expansion at Gatwick has posted on his FB account that he was woken

last night by a propeller aircraft flying up and down the flight line as if heading east I believe. It woke me at 0025 ish last night, and I heard it at varying closeness to me ( East side of Copthorne) until somewhere around 0130. I could not see it but it was low and some of the runs were , or appear to have been, directly over Copthorne and other runs perhaps on the current take off path.
I have checked Gatwick arrivals and departures on FR24 for this period and they show no activity. Does anyone else know how to check if their was anything else flying in this area at the time? I'm hoping it was law enforcement or similar because that would show aviation as a benefit to the complainant!!

As a matter of interest, and potentially also the wallet, is the playback function on FR24 only available for Premium users?

FR24

Charlie B/Anyone

You sound like a man in the know regarding Flightradar, is the facillity to track inbound/outbound a/c into individual airports ie BRS -inbound/outbound available in any form

The screen seems to have recently changed and if you put BRS int the search bar only an arrival screen appears as with the departures. It's a shame if it has gone.

FlightRadar24's ability (or not) to track arrivals and departures from a specific airport is purely down to whether or not there is an enthusiast feeding data to FR24 in the local area.

The screen seems to have recently changed .
Still there but the old "filter" which appeared as such on the main screen got hidden.

Click on the cogwheel icon at the top right, between Premium and UTC. A sub-window appears. Click on Filters, the right hand of the 5 tabs. Under Add New Filter click on the arrow to the right of Callsign, the other options appear. Select Airport, and in the box alongside enter BRS. Click on the green + at the end of the line. Finally click on the cogwheel again to suppress the sub-window. A small 1 appears alongside indicating how many filters in use.

To get rid of it, click the cogwheel, click the red X, click the cogwheel.

Yes, you have to ask if the programmer who did the recent FR24 redesign is feeling better yet ......
