I suspect there was considerably more than basic checks done on us all. We did provide full name and address information prior to the event.
Perhaps I am too big a fan of profiling as a much more effective security screening method than x-ray machines and metal detectors. I also suspect we were perhaps watched more closely on entry than we perhaps realised.
