What's happened to the Archives?

Have we had to say goodbye to the Archives with the new system?

I'd invested many hours, nay, days for the Military Archive in advance of the big bang "cull". Using the new, excellent, search engine, I've looked high and low for the Archives or for some thread that might have explained what has happened to them. Nothing useful found.

I had been going to suggest the creation of an Archive for the Computer and Internet Forum to preserve some of the excellent stuff that appears there. Doesn't seem likely now!

I not sure if I ve missed something but I can't find the classified section either....

The archived posts have been merged back into the main forums.

You can quickly go to them using the dropdown menus at the bottom of a forum page. Use :
sorted by "last post time" in "ascending" order from "the beginning"

So, er, there aren't any Archives as such then? They have the same status as the rest of the old Threads.

Pity, 'cos as Archives they had special status and value. Now they can be confused with all the rest of the rubbish.
