Grizzly C-12's at Norwich airport...

Hi all,

Don't know if these are of interest to you , but managed to get a few shots of N40R & N46L Beech 200 (C-12's) arriving and departing norwich airport after a fuel stop and overnight stay.

Nice photos, but why would any US military aircraft transiting the counties of Norfolk/Suffolk not use Mildenhall, Lakenheath etc ? All the infrastructure would be in place and 'friendly'. No offense to the good people of Norwich

Delivery flight to another foreign airforce ? If that were the case I'd still take issue with the security aspect, as these particular aircraft are used for in-theatre surveillance and probably are fitted out with sensitive equipment.

Those two airframes, like most US Army C-12As, were converted to C-12Cs (PT6A-41 engines). N40R was formerly 73-22256 and N46L is ex 77-22945.
