Edinburgh Airport Pics 4th & 6th Sept 2012
I might be wrong, but I took the 'criticism' of HT towards the OP in a lighter way than it might come across, more with a friendly/cajoling tone than brutal disrespect. I would think that (in general) it would be better to post one or two photos here and see what the audience thinks of them, rather than quite a few ok, but ordinary shots, and then not expect feedback. There are many aviation photo orientated websites to browse through with every type of shot, almost, so tips and tricks can be learned and practiced. Btw, I thought that the Jet2 photo was very atmospheric, though spoilt by the ground handling equipment cluttering up the foreground.

Your comments don't deserve a reply on both counts!
So, youŽre telling me and the world that those shots are NOT under exposed and at the same time you call yourself an expert? I think youŽve been rumbled.

Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear!
First, Sobelena - I strongly suggest you read ALL of my replies to this thread. I don't recall ever mentioning exposure, or lack of! And for your information, I was a member (by qualification and experience) of ACTT (remember Alan Sapper?), probably before you were in long pants.
Pistonprop - Nor do I recall saying that I took aviation photos. Whilst I do, landscapes are my main interest.

HT, I feel sure you didn't intend came across as a t0sser, and something got lost in translation. Why not show your graceful side to the OP? He seems like a nice guy.
Edited to say: I know EDI well, and some of the duller pictures (though granted not the dullest) were quite evocative for me of that airport's prevailing weather!

peterbucks etc., if it makes you personally feel better to call me a tOsser for offering an honest personal opinion, then so be it I'm a tOsser. OK? My opinion stands, but by the way, I believe that my second post (post #4) said it all to the OP.
If others don't share my opinion that's perfectly fine (as I already said) but I don't feel the need to go around calling them names just because they think differently to me. Opinions differ and that's a fact of life.
