What a great photo history of NCL!
What is scary is how many of the airlines in the photos don't exist any more!

Adding my congratulations on the photo's, it's the most interesting thread I've read on any forum in a long long time.
I wonder if the Airport itself would be interested to see these and have some sort of timeline display in the departure lounge of all the aircraft (and airlines) that have been and gone.
Dan Air and Orion brings back many many memories

<<The quality is fantastic, there is a well known web database of 'Airliners' you should get them uploaded.>>
I know from bitter experience that few would make it onto the major sites. They look for a) technical excellence, i.e focus, levels, etc., b) aircraft must be centred on the frame and c) they must be level, i.e. the surrounding terrain must be horizontal or any buildings must be perpendicular. However, a few minutes with Photoshop would sort them out..
If he levels them and slightly adjust the contrast, Air Britain pics is more concerned with the aeronautical content that photographic excellence so they would get in there probably.
Lastly, Fotopic provides free photo albums so that everyone can access them on line. Might be an idea to upload them there...

If you are not already aware of it, have a look at Welcome to Flickr - Photo Sharing where there is a group called 'Airlines- Bankrupt, Extinct, Orphan Former'. Numerous photos of aircraft belonging to long-gone airlines from all over the world. Your photos would be welcome additions to the group and it is a fascinating collection to browse.

Fantastic memories, here - many thanks for uploading all these photos!
I have a few from 1985-1992ish, so will have a look through them in the next couple of weeks and hopefully get them posted. I'm sure I have one of an Ambassador B752 next to an Airtours one which will hopefully be of interest to you.
As much as I liked the Ambassador colours and seeing their 757s, I was much more excited when a new 727 operator appeared in 1994/95 - Sabre! Standing in the field near the metro line and having one of these or a Maersk Air (UK) BAC One Eleven taking off was one hell of a buzz! Happy days...

[quote=KieranAJ;6133839]I have a few. I'm not a professional photographer, took these on my phone./quote]
Hi KieranAJ,
Great to see pics from other contributors.
However there is a pic size limit on PPRuNe of 850x850.
This ensures that pics fit the page correctly and make for easy viewing for us all.
Please continue to post pics but, ensure they are formatted correctly.
Regards,
G-BPED.

Great pics yes, but the size is wrong. Please adjust them to no more than 850x850 - that is the limit on PPRuNe. It stretches the page laterally which is not acceptable.

Welcome to the Forum.
You do well, I would have no idea how to make a picture of mine appear on here and even less of an idea as to how to alter it's size, either bigger or smaller!!!
