Egyptian F-16s over Cairo
The news yesterday showed a couple of jet aircraft making passes over central Cairo....were they F-16s?
One was in a pale grey scheme with large hi-viz orange stripes on the wings and tail fin (?). Seems like an odd colour scheme for a tactical fighter bomber?

They certainly looked like F-16s and not being put to a very constructive use, but as Mubarack is, i believe, the ex-commander of the Egyptian Air Force, he was able to call in a few favours. No idea as to the purpose of the orange/hi viz markings on the wings. Perhaps to help the ground forces see the target in training and then in real situations they're painted out.

Google is your friend.......
OK.....Egypt operates no less than 220 F-16's......and the dayglo panels are there to distinguish their F-16s from those of neighbouring countries....Israel I assume
