STN RWY05 approach
From my lovely vantage point in Sawbridgeworth I can see all RWY 05 arrivals. Can anyone tell me what altitude the aircraft will be flying as they go past? The gear is always lowered as it flies past.
Cheers

Thanks BOAC. It seems much higher when you're actually looking out of the window (for once I managed to see my flat on the approach the other day)!

Landed on 04 at Stansted a few times in the last week. Good to see Duxford from the air for a change and to view the classy line up of the VC-10, BAC 1-11, Viscount & Hearld from the air. Duxford - a great place which helps to excuse and soften the grimness of Stansted.

Two aircraft on runway?
On a slightly related note, the current satellite image of the runway at Stansted has two aircraft on it in close proximity, with one looking like it's turning off.
Apart from the satellite imagery being...wonky...what could have happened? For once I don't think this is a stupid question
stn - Google Maps
