Where is BelArgUSA?

I haven't seen BelArgUSA around here lately.
Does anybody know what happened to him?

I was just thinking the same. I hope he returns soon. A man who always provides educated posts and replies.

I asked the same thing on 25 Jul by PM but, having had no reply, was pleased to see about four later posts by him up to early August. He could indeed be travelling Avman, but sadly believe that he is a widower.

As they say in Australia, "Come in Spinner!"

Jack

PS Perhaps we would have better luck in another forum?

Greetings from BelArgUSA

Hola Friends -
xxx
I recently retired from contributing to Pprune, as one of my posts was removed without notification, when expressing regrets that hobby "simulator pilots" receive "equal treatment" in pilot technical discussions dealing with training, aircraft or performance.
xxx
Obviously, they should be given their own "corner" within Pprune, as other aviation enthusiasts have... but certainly not receive red carpet treatment in the Tech Log forum, and waste my time to research high altitude weight limitations until I eventually realized I was dealing with a computer hobbyist inquiry.
xxx
From now on, I will continue to occasionally read Pprune, but my transponder mode selector switch is now in "stealth" mode. As I had my own detractors here in the forum, I hope they will be pleased with my decision.
xxx
Hope that you will make good use of "Happy Contrails" -
Best regards -

I tend to agree -- I will not go into the depth of research for a gamer that I will for a professional (or aspiring) pilot. If I find out a gamer has tried to pass himself off as a real pilot through misleading or missing information, I will refuse to answer at all.

BelArgUSA, as someone who has learned a lot from your postings, I sincerely hope that you dont remain in stealth mode for too long.

Stay with us mate. I'm mainly just a reader, but you gave me the best reply when I asked about smoking in aircraft.

I have thrown toys out of my pram over deleted posts on one or two forums - and have now accepted that moderators are humans and do make mistakes.

See you on the viewing balcony - I'm the one on cigars.
