What I want to know is -- why do the printed books (at least, the Racal ones I've seen) always have the ICAO phonetic code and morse printed on the back? The publications are stuffed full of enormous amounts of complex, cryptic aeronautical data... but is there really a chance that Nigel will get on the blower to ATC and promptly forget what phonetic to use for M?

Are these kept current?
Racals are not only used by Nigels, and morse can be useful for unsure people under training looking to clarify an ident. on VOR.
