MAN-AGP with WW: 321 or 733?
I have noticed that flightstats has been showing the bmi baby Malaga flight as being operated by a 321 for a while now. I am due to take this flight soon and am wondering if this is correct.
Is this an aircraft on loan from bmi mainline? I would prefer a nice Airbus to a hoary old 733. Can anyone local to MAN confirm the position?

Believe MIDC (a 321) is being used out of MAN for the time being. Baby are borrowing from Big Brother at Heathrow but am not sure if it'll stay as a 321 all summer due to its maintenance requirements

No, WW are awaiting delivery of a new 733 at MAN.
MIDC is doing the AGP,ALC, PRG, BFS sorties.
MIDX & MIDP are currently on the charter program.
Sadly MIDC is the only BD/BMI A/C in the old colours.
I liked the old dark blue colours.
And sadly MIDC is said to be getting scrapped later this year.
The BD 321 fleet has served BD/BMI well for the last 17+ years.

Big brother at LHR needed 321 back, so 320 been doing the flts that it should have been doing, this changing to 319 around 20th i think for about 2wks...then either 320 or 321 comes back.
So it could be 319/320 0r 737! will depend on what flights they have the bus doing.

Midc & Midl
Both a/c are on handback 2010. They're due on D checks next year so not heading for the knackers' yard just yet!
With all the Airbus type swaps, I wonder what numbers Baby are booking the flights to?.....
Right, I'll get me coat................

DC (just turned 10yrs old) & DL won't make it into the latest livery - expect their next paint job to be for their new/next owner on the handback input (unless they get LH UK logos sometime sooner!)
I wouldn't hold your breath for Baby getting a 319 fleet either - more's the pity

It's not sad at all BYALPHAINDIA, it's a drab colour scheme without the "British Midland" titles on the fuselage and diamond emblem on the fin.
Also, G-MIDC is not alone. One of the A320s is still in the old colours; G-MIDZ.

The 321 is filling in for a replacement 733 which is due late in the summer. However, It is my understanding that it is staying for the majority of the summer season. Baby are booking the flights scheduled to be operated by the 321 for the 321s capacity. I'm not sure if they know in advance big brother might switch it to a 319 ! The 321 is doing the fllights it is doing because MAN can take the additional capacity on those routes during the summer season and the business is seriously looking at this potential.
