Maybe you guys should check out www.mikehughes.bravehost.com.
This guy works at Manchester (if he's still there). When I last heard he was better connected and more informed about this type of stuff than most of the spooks that are probably running our security services right now. Fascinating site and amazing book, if you can get your hands on it. Internal mail says he still works for NATS so ask him about it.
