-ZP-CCF, 707-321B, LAP
All three standing locally as CCF/Crédit Commercial de France !!!
Funnier, I flew the afore mentioned 707 and 727 !!!!

Then posing as AF top local challenger, UT relaunched Aéromaritime into its full time charter arm. Before UT was purshased by AF in 1992, they ultimately operated 5 737-300s, 2 767-200s, 767-300s and 2 737-400.

G-NIUK was registed that as it was used on the Nigeria to UK routes for BCal G-DCIO speaks for it1s self and I have forgotten what G-MULL is other than Mull of Kintyre
an I believe some of the B747s had special registrations with a meaning which have slipped me at present but ckeck and post

Air Wales registrations
Although not funny I believe all Air Wales aircraft have set registrations on their ATR's .
G-CDFF - Cardiff based charter a/c
G-SWSE - Swansea based a/c op DUB ,LCY , JER AND AMS
G-KNNY- Old friend of one of the shareholders of the company i believe
G-TAWE - Originating from Abertawe ( Swansea ) in Welsh where the a/c is based from Air Wales Swansea hub
Anymore anyone ?

There was a US registered plane around at Biggin on Sunday, only caught the shortened form of its registration, but it made me smile every time they came on saying "two two tango"...

funny registrations
I remember seeing a photo of an Italian glider with I-FU*K, and have got photo of IS28m2 motorglider with D-KUNT
I've also flown G-BONK and G-KNOB- Both hot air balloons belonging to Wye valley aviation.
Have also flown the following balloons;
G-MOUS Mickey Mouse with party hat
G-BUFO Virgin UFO
G-ZUMP Allen and Harris Estate Agents
D-SAUF (German for getting drunk)
G-ICEY (ex) Iceland
G-PNEU Michelin
D-OBUM
..and the company I work for now, used to have 2 balloons with
D-OUCH and D-OWEH(German for Ouch!)
