Iberia pilot salary
Hola!
Does anyone know anything about the salaries in Iberia? How much do you make (take home pay) per month as an entry level first officer? Someone told me it's about 35k/year but I don't know if he ment gross or net... Does it rise "rapidly" after a few years or does it stay like that for 10 years...? I know they have a "Convenio" but it's impossible to get the numbers together there are too many variables so I'm looking for a ballpark figure ;) Thanks! |
2000-2500 eur after taxes in your bank account per month.
And no, it takes many years to go up the scale with the new entry levels. To earn low-cost carrier FO money it would take you around 5 years or more I seem to recall by memory - as per the convenio. |
35.000 gross salary a year.
That means 2000/2300€ net a month 11 levels at Iberia now. Takes 2 years every level... Is doesnt matter if you fly short or long haul. |
How much does salary increase wirh every level?
|
Wow thanks for the answers. That's quite low considering you even have to pay for the Type Rating... :/
Same question as above, how much does the salary increase with every level? |
Apartment rentals in Madrid are quite expensive and the cost of living as well.
Lets say flat rental could be 1000/1400 Eur per month. You need 150 Eur weekly for meals/living/incidentals. Transportation to and from Barajas? another 150/350 pm cost. If you took a loan to pay the TR/self fund your training, then you also have to pay back about 500/700 pm. That is if you are single with no kids. Its a 100000 Eur career (investment) that should have a higher return. |

It pays less depending of your experience, but as far as I remember the next step is level 4, you need to have 1500 factorized hours and then you get around 2500€-3000€. But if you have level 5 or 6 is around 1200€ per month as average and the first contract is eventual for 6-8months
Come on! come on! Now new pilots joining Iberia are less pay than pilots low timers in Vueling. If you give numbers to the members, give right number! For a Level 6 in Winter (55H) is above 2200E and 80H in summer is 2600E. For a Level 5 in Winter (55H) is above 3000E and 80H in summer is 3200E. For a Level 4 in Winter (55H) is above 3400E and 80H in summer is 4000E. |
Vueling pay for new entry pilot without experience is around 2200 now in winter, at around 40H.

vueling pay, entry level (E/6, lowest one)
2100 - 45h 2400 - 50h 2700 - 75h 2600 - 60h 2650 - 46h 2520 - 70h Average since out of training 2500€ / 62 h per month. |
Why is this industry in a race to the bottom? I’m glad I left it when I did. When will the airlines be happy.. when pilots work for free? |

Now with the new agreement incoming the Level E entry will be above 3000E each month more or less but still better than Iberia Level 11... And if you are based in Paris, add 1500E bonus per month as housing allowance! |

Hi, is the table on page 57 updated? ->
2100 - 45h 2400 - 50h 2700 - 75h 2600 - 60h 2650 - 46h 2520 - 70h 2850 - 85h 2220 - 42h 2380 - 67h For level 6/E which is the first year or below 1500h. It comes to 2500/60h per month. Now this is more accurate than what you can find around there. But I repeat, from this january, (less than 10 days left) salary tables changes. Fixed salary increases so final income for each pilot is bigger and does not depend so much on the hours they fly. |
Remember kids, there’s always someone that’ll do it for less! You’re dreams came through.

Anyone has an up to date payscale for FO and Capt pay on CRJ900?
