FAA AME in BCN

Trying to find out if there is a FAA certified AME in or close to Barcelona who can issue a FAA 1st class medical?

2 in all of Spain, both in Madrid, AFAIK and according the AME locator (link).

It is usually cheaper to buy a round trip airplane ticket from BCN to London-Stansted than going to Madrid. I highly recommend Dr Peter Orton. He is located at Stansted airport. Make an appointment, buy an airplane ticket, fly up in the morning, get your appointment done, fly back in the afternoon.

Thanks janrein, will keep that in mind in the future.

zonda, as I am a 3 hours drive northwest of BCN in a nice little mountain country I might as well make the five hour drive to MAD vs getting on a return flight to STN. Had I still lived in BCN it might have made sense to get on a flight, but as it is now it doesn’t. Thanks anyways.

I will be doing my recurrent in Dubai from now on and will try someone there this time around.
