Ola,
Could anyone give us some info on AirEuropa please.Pilot bases, do pilots have to speak spanish(prerequisite) etc.

Definitely yes. This is what AEA specifies about Spanish language requirements:

1.1.3.- Dominio del idioma castellano, hablado y escrito. Para aspirantes de nacionalidad no española, con idioma oficial distinto al castellano, estar en posesión del “ DELE nivel superior” del Instituto Cervantes o título de otra Institución nivel ALTE C2 (nivel 5). Si estos últimos han realizado los estudios especificados en 1.1.1. y 1.1.2. en idioma castellano, no será necesaria tal certificación.
