VUELING 2018

Alguien sabe algo de una futura convocatoria? Hablan que para Septiembre¡
Hoy he mirado y la convocatoria esta cerrada.

As you can see every single day on the medias and social networks the reliability is pretty bad and most of the flights (if not all) are delayed or cancelled, passengers really not happy at all and definitely not willing to hear anymore about Vueling. The company's image is now looking much worse than Ryanair, not doubt about it...
There are recurrent issues with understaffed and untrained maintenance and handling departments, crew rosters are constantly changed.
In 2016 Vueling was about to loose its Air Operator Certificate and this year it might well be the same nightmare.
Pilots have a bad salary compared to the current market rate and the new collective agreement made by SEPLA union might just not be approved by pilots according to the last rumors going around.
Not sure wether they'll need to recruit more guys or not for next year, probably yes in order to replace the ones leaving for greener pastures. The growth is almost nil and impossible is those conditions. CEO keeps on blaming all the time bad weather in Europe and ATC strikes instead of questioning himself.
Try anything else if you can.

How long is promotion to captain for F/O joining with experience ?

you will be the last in seniority.... doesnt mind your experience. when your turn arises, around 5-6 years or more if no growth.

So they are not factoring hours like EasyJet, Ryanair, Volotea,...?
A 10,000hr F/O will wait the same time as a 250hr cadet for a command assessment?
And same thing regarding salaries?

Yes. You opt cpt when are 3000 hours fsctoriced.... But now there are to many Fo in front.... So you have to wait enough for them to get 3000 .. So they become cpt first.

Regarding salary, you will be a FO level 1 with a much higher salary than an unexperienced FO in level 6.

Level 4 and then change level every 2 years. Imposible to get level 1 as you join, the average salary level 4 is 3k a month net.

They are talking about 6K€/month for joining experience F/O in Paris on local contracts.... (Could anyone confirm?....)

Could someone confirm if the 2014 salary table is still current? Got it from the 2015 BOE.
Can't believe how low the salaries are.
Are there any VY crew who can explain me how it works.
Do you only get the base salary?

The base salary level 6 is about 950 net

Of course is not the base salary alone,you also get hours and daily pays,as well as other things Im not sure about.

At level 6 I got between 2400€ and 3500€ after taxes flying between 50 and 85 hours with many ''destacamentos'' , an option you can select where the company sends you for few days in other bases to work and you get paid more.

I saw the paycheck of a level 5 guy who got 3500€ for 63 hours,but no idea about the average.

Now, im not saying it's an amazing salary,especially compared to other companies,but I honestly dont think its too bad, also taking into consideration many little things other companies don't have (free flights on the whole network for you, 8 friends you can choose for unlimited standby tickets + 40 something tickets to give away, the great atmosphere at work,zed ticketsfor with more than 80 companies ecc).

Are they still requiring Spanish language for NTR DEFO? They have recently dispensed with that requirement for MPL applicants.

Unfortunately, that´s why spanish pilots are suffering from few years ago, troubles to access airlines based in our own country.

On the other hand, if I want to send my application , for instance, to Lufhtansa they will require me German Level 6, and the same case to British Airways or whichever.

There are too many cases that display, foreign crew landing in LEMD with no least idea of speaking Spanish with controllers, and a long discussion between lot of Spanish pilots about that.

Y a ver si nos acostumbramos al hecho de escribir en el idioma propio del foro, porque mientras se demuestre lo contrario, y como bien refleja el título de este foro, esto es un "Spanish Forum ", con lo cual no veo el sentido de hablar en otro idioma; de igual manera, cuando entramos en otros foros internacionales tenemos que asumir hablar en inglés, o en el idioma local del foro.

Pilotos Españoles! Defendamos lo nuestro, antes de que nos coman la tostada...!

You are a funny guy.
Why the hell am I supposed to speak and understand Spanish with ATC when I come into a Spanish airport? By this logic, you should be able to speak Polish if you fly into Warsaw.

Un tío divertido...? Mira, como veo que entiendes perfectamente español, te haré una pregunta:
Te has preguntado por qué existe un foro en español - " Spanish Forum " y no uno en polaco - " Polish Forum " ?
Pues quizá sea por la repercusión que en estos momentos se vive afortunadamente en el sector aéreo en España sumado a la relevancia de las Compañías Aéreas Españolas. La lástima, y quizá me expresé mal, es que aún se permita hacer las pruebas de acceso a pilotos que no tienen el mínimo nivel de español o castellano( como lo quieras llamar ) o "spanish" si así lo entiendes mejor, exigible: es decir al menos, nivel 4 - LEVEL 4 - cuando como te decía anteriormente, si yo quiero aplicar en Alemania, en cualquier compañía están exigiendo nivel 5 o 6 en alemán y de igual manera sucede en Inglaterra, Francia, etc... lo cual por otra parte, lo veo lógico.
Deberían aplicarse las mismas normas por igual en todos los países de la UE, y por extensión en sus compañías aéreas, para poder optar a un puesto de trabajo.
Y, ya que me pones el ejemplo de hablar en polaco, si voy a Varsovia, te recomiendo que te eches un vistazo a los requisitos en cuestión de idioma, para poder acceder a la Compañía bandera de nuestro país vecino, Portugal.

• Minimum level of education 12th grade or equivalent (Complete High School Diploma);

Solo digo, que quien quiera venir a volar a España, debería preocuparse por aprender un mínimo exigible del idioma que se habla en España, más que nada por equipararse a los requerimientos que se exigen en otras Compañías de otros países.

Lo siento, pero creo que en este tema, no hay opción a que me puedas rebatir, ya que queda demostrada la aplicación y regulación del idioma local, en otros países, como requisito.

Are you implying I should know Spanish to operate into LEMD when on duty with my non-Spanish company? I better start learning now as I have a flight to Spain in two weeks!

Had I to work in Spain, of course I would do my best to learn Spanish for my daily life. That would be my fifth language...

Eres tú el que solicitando información sobre una Compañía, que SÍ es española como Vueling, y a eso es a lo que me estoy refiriendo.
Estás confundiendo los términos, porque no quieres entrar al tema que te he expuesto.
Y, SÍ, deberías preocuparte por aprender español si quieres volar en Vueling, sea tu quinto o tu décimo idioma a aprender..
