Vueling recruitment.

Hi there.

Does anyone know if Vueling ask to pay your own TR?

I don´t see that part in the job pool requirements.

Thank you.

If you passed the assessment, on a given date prior to start the line training, you MUST have the TR in your licenses. In what academy? Is your own decision, however, all pilots I know in VLG went through CAE paying almost 20000€

Es imprescindible obtener el certificado antes de emprezar el OCC.

Only qualified A320 TR pilots are hired, you do not need to have the TR to do the assessment, but you will be required TR on your licence before start to work

You will be evaluated, and if you pass the selection you will be asked to do type rated on your own before the date of your OCC.

Thank you for your reply, somes friends told me that the interview is conducted in English.... will see 😉
The requirements are to be rated and with 200 or 300 total hours factorized

The written exam is mainly in english although you might get a few questions in spanish as well. The interviews are both in spanish and english, you MUST be fluent and understand all the questions you'll be asked of course. The simulator might either be in english or in spanish, depending on your simpartner and your examiner.
Be aware that at Vueling, everybody speaks in spanish (between pilots, cabin crew, operations, ground staff, etc). Documentation is in spanish and english, but ground classes and lots of recurrent elearning are in spanish only. You may perform the ATC in english, in fact this is going to be mandatory when flying to/from big spanish airports in a few weeks time as per european rules of standardization approved by spanish AESA.

Good luck.

Then, you have to be rated in a320 and comply with the factorized hours to get the call from vueling?
If it's so, why they didn't put it in the min requirements...

“Language proficiency English and Spanish ICAO level 4 or higher (Spanish level required before joining Vueling)”

Level 4 is not particularly good if I remember correctly.

I do agree with you but it seems that paying 20-30K € to get a job is no big deal for some people.

When does it stop!! Paying for a job! When do they start to pay decent salaries? Too many pilots in the world is the problem.
