the DVDs and videos suck!! They guy who filmed it has no clue what camera Iris is and is more interested in the scenery than the plan and flight etc... not ONE landing shows what's happening in the cockpit, it's irised so you can see outside (sometimes just a little crack over the pilot's shoulder in the 747) but the entire cockpit is dark. No clue where the thrust is, no idea how much speed brake they're using, no idea when they deploy reversers (the mic cuts out and doesn't pick up the reverse thrust) etc... I'm not an airline pilot, just a aviation student who wants desperately to see more of a commercial cockpit in use. I do fly but obviosuly a C-152 is nothing like a 777 or even a 737 let along a learjet!

anywho, if anyone was interested in these videos themselves or others who know a decent amount about aviation and want to see what goes on in a commercial cockpit, save your money and buy some sim time somewhere!
