space shuttle landing minimums

just out of interest does anyone know what the landing minima for the space shuttle i.e max x-wind component, lowest cloud base allowed, lowest visibility etc etc. The shuttle Discovery was already delayed in landing for 2 consecutive days because NASA says the x-wind at both KSC and Edwards is too strong. Does anyone have any info on this??

cheers :)

Apparently a recent launch was postponed due to bad weather in Spain - potenial abort runway was unavailable

Yes launches are a very touchy subject for space shuttles. The weather can be CAVOK at the cape but if it aint suitableat all of the abort sites( from memory i think there are 3-4) then a launch can't take place.
