Definitions: The US is *not* at War
 

In the absence of any particular state being responsible for Tuesday's terrible events, the US is most certainly not officially at war - no matter what anyone says. They can be on a war footing which is a bit different.

Guvnor's views notwithstanding, it only takes one party to have a war. The other non-participant can actually lose a war they do not believe they are in. Same as bar fights, but louder, more expensive, and less easily broken up.

I like what the Guv has to say . I am new to the PPRune and so far think that everything that he has to say has kept me interested. Keep offering info to us ,seems there are only a few that already know everything. I dont think they have mothers! Or they would know that if you cant say something nice dont say anything at all. :)
