Can someone tell me , does letting users know about a service on the net amount to advertising ?
I had recently posted a topic regarding a free email service for aircrew on PPrune informing everyone that you can get a cool email add at *****************

I came across many topics in different categories that told people about other websites & services . Before you know it i was banned , my topic removed & not a word from the admin people as to why .

What about all the airlines that are being mentioned all over the forum . Sounds like advertising to me as well .

Common courtesy obviously is lacking .


Not sure about this so have blanked the url and am referring (deferring??) to the 'big boss'

Did you observe the common courtesy of asking the administrators of the BBS if you could advertise?
