Shuttle launch

Hi, there is a Shuttle launch next Thursday. Does the launch trajectory take it over mainland USA, or the Atlantic ? Could it be seen overhead Tucson anytime ?

Thanks, Andy

I'm off to Florida on Monday morning to see this one go. All info on the NASA website.

Thanks Pal, I tried the NASA site first but I probably just missed the info. Good luck, hope you get to see the launch. Andy

Hi
Every launch from Florida is to the east over the ocean. Try NASA on http://spaceflight.nasa.gov/realdata...art/index.html
If I've typed it right(!) it gives you the NASA site and you can tell it where you live and it works out what you can see and when. I'm still tring to see a launch, whenever I go they are usually delayed until I've left. Good Luck

Yes - East is where they go. One of the abort sites is in Spain. They have been known to delay launches due to bad whether in Spain, too.
