How high are planes whilst they go over Legoland Windsor???

Just guessing here.....but...

The little ones are higher than the bigger ones....
The lighter ones are higher than the heavier ones....
The heavier little ones are probably higher than the lighter bigger ones...

If they're landing over Windsor, they're generally lower than they are on departure....

...ain't necessarily so, but generally those is the rules.

The maths way, (assuming landing) 3 deg. glideslope, call it 6nm away from heathrow.. tan(3)=(X/6) 0.31nm or just over 1900ft. Takeoffs, about 2500ft for a full 747; something like a A320 will be at 4000ft+
