The Truth about MSD aviation
 

There are many rumors about MSD aviation and their line training programs.

It is well known about the Lion Air drama but what is the current situation now?

Are they actually providing line training for the people paying them?

Does anyone have first hand knowledge if MSD is providing the 500 hours they promise?

Regardless if it is right or wrong to pay for the 500 hours... Please just information about MSD.

It is not right to steal someone's money wether they are "stupid" or not. It is still wrong to steal.

If you are so keen to find out about msd why don't you go speak to them yourself ? While your at it go and check with skies aviation too ... I hear they have a 747 line training opportunity !

Did you send your money to MSD?

MSD - here is what I know...

MSD the core of there buisness and what has fueled there payroll for the last few years is wealthy Indian buisnessmen who have sent there son's & daughters off to this company on the hope they will become airline pilots.

MSD buisness practices and reputation is quickly loosing them lots of there partner airlines, things like withholding payments, sending totally unqualified personell etc is just the start...

There are hundreds of MSD hopefulls who never started there training and were robbed of there money. The ones that have started are flying minimum hours and huge delays to there flying hours are being witnessed.

It's a very familiar story with Skies aviation whom really did bite off more than they could chew having signed up many many pilots to there programs only to not be able to provide the line training. There solution to this problem is to tell there current pilots whom are waiting month after month for answers is that they have leased there own aircraft and that these pilots will fly on this, what they don't know however is that no aircraft is actually coming it's just a stalling tactic to buy more time...

If I understand they basically sell a product they don't have. Then they go looking for an airline to send you to after they get your money. Excuse after excuse to delay until hopefully they find you an airline. If not you are out whatever you paid?

I syphathise with you for wanting to progress, I also no what's it's like to be not flying. 2015 will prove to be a good year for recruitment so just hang on even if your TT is low

Paid MSD up front but no training and no refund as yet.
 

Hi Sandboxpilot,

In July 2014 I paid 30,000 euros for a 250hr course for my son. It was due to start in August but, after many many delays he was finally told to report to Dhaka for training in December. On his arrival at the airline (Regent) nothing was arranged. After several months out there it became clear that the course would not be approved by the aviation authority.

My son was offered a refund in accordance with his MSD contract but they have still refunded not one cent! It's now over a year since they took my money.

If we get a refund I will post an update here.
