Looking for information about Solo, Indonesia
 

Hello, We are looking for infos about the region of Solo, Indonesia. Our Company wants to base some of our pilots in this area for a Hajj subcontract and we heard trough the branches that pilots from Thomas Cook refused to go there for safety reasons, if it is the case our union will try to change the base, but we would need details and if possible a contact that has been there.

Solo is a nice town to stay but there are a lot of extremist Islamic boarding schools in the area , perhaps that's their concern.

Personally I have found Solo people to be nice to deal with and providing you behaved yourself it would be safe.
