HK-Outlying Island-Flight Simulator Instructor

Cathay Pacific Airways dedicated Simulator Instructors provide comprehensive training on B747, B744, B777, A330 and A340 synthetic flight training devices at it's Flight Training Centre in Hong Kong.

We invite those with relevant airline check and/or training backgrounds, or equivalent military experience, to submit an application.

Applicants with a current or previously held ATPL and a Boeing or Airbus endorsement will be preferred.

Microsoft Office and PowerPoint knowledge are beneficial.

DEPUTY MANAGER – TRAINING (AIRBUS)

The appointee will assist Manager – Training A330 and Manager – Training A320 in the daily operations of Flight Crew Training Dept and to ensure fulfillment of training requirements in accordance with company policy as well as regulatory requirements. The incumbent will act as the point of contact for Flight Tech Crew on training issues. The job will involve the administration of FCT policy and the approval of monthly Training Roster, maintenance and revision of the Flight Crew Training Manual/ training supplement and oversight of individual training package syllabi, delivery of training courses as and when required; and coordination of future training requirements and liaison with relevant departmental managers on training issues.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Degree holder preferably in aviation related disciplines;
At least 10 years' experience in Airline Flight Operations / Senior Check Airman / Airline Management;
In-depth technical and practical knowledge of flight operations, preferably with a training background and have solid experience in dealing with aviation regulatory authority;
Good coordination and communication skills;
Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
