Parc Aviation/ Japan Contracts

I am wondering if anyone can comment on their experiences with Parc Aviation and/or their experiences flying as a contract pilot in Japan. Roughly what do you consider your cost of living to be in Japan? In addition, have anybody taken their family there to live for a few years and what has been the experience?

No different to any other agency. Expect the contract to be interpreted in a way that you would never imagine possible.

There are many expats with their families with Parc in Japan. With a big broad brush, expect cost of living to be double that of Australia or 150% that of the UK. Expat life is not up to the level one would get in Singapore or Hong Kong.

Flying is straightforward, lots of rules, but everything really works.

Japan is cheaper than the UK by a long shot..
