First, Happy Belated New Year's. I just received an invite to an assessment for HK Express in Paris and i'd like to know a bit about some of the benefits (if any), Pay, Housing etc. I understand that it's not exactly peaches and cream for everyone but any information is appreciated. Anything constructive will helpful especially in this days of inflation and COVID. Much appreciated.

Post covid I believe the term megalomaniac comes to mind after speaking to a few of the guys there. Might be a top down problem.

What licenses do they accept? Any ICAO/FAA? What about date of last flight on A320?

I have ICAO ATPL and rated on B737 and still got an invitation for interview. Basically they paying for flight tickets and hotel.

Regarding pay and benefits, look at it this way :HKE is the LCC of CX and the pilots at CX are seriously pi55ed at their pay and conditions, enough said

While I appreciate the comment, after doing calculations and all it is still 2x what I will be making in my current country post expenses, with significantly better workload. So it is still a great deal for me

Anyone able to give the correct figures for rated captain regarding pay, taxes, benefits, roster etc?
I'd like to apply but only if that's worth it.
I know HK is expensive and i'll make the math later, i just need raw figures.

U have to be a Brazilian or Portuguese speaker. Worked for SUSI Air before. This will b the fastest track to get a job there.

these 2 Brazilians will probably get into HKE in no time with the right connections, way faster than anyone else if they lost their LATAM jobs.

Or Being a Belgian or French and speaking French language plus with the right other connections.

stay away as it’s an airline with a well known culture that favors only certain nationalities.

All Hong Kong companies, including HK Express mention "COVID vaccination certificate" in the lists of their requirements.
Does anyone know why is that? Is it an employer's requirement? Couldn't be the Government, they've repealed vaccination requirement about a month ago.
