Hardly news of significance, more like a promotional message.

newscaster 2nd Jan 2023 19:43

You mean this is not an airliners.net type of discussion forum? and who decides whats worthy of being posted here? everything dosent have to be significant and yes promo type of posts can also be done to spread the news as the forum is titled.

Newscaster and MissChief: the opening post is fine.

OK. No problem for me now.

Witht their proposed orders Air India will, in a few years, not only be the biggest airline in the country that will have the worlds biggest population but bigger than BA Lufti ,and AF and vastly bihher than Emirates, QF, SQ and CX . Surely that makes it newsworthy, In my industry , telecoms and Internet transport, Europe has already slipped from the top of three tree displaced by China and India and before that much longer Brasil Indonesia and Nigeria will eclipse the biggest individual countries in Europe. The world is changing and population size will matter in some areas more than just money in some industries.

I have heard this said many times before. Somehow the different airlines in India still struggle with a number of them folding over the years.
I hope they understand that there are other passengers out there that are not Indian, and that food sometimes is not called curry or vegetable curry.
They need to change the whole mindset of the company, that takes more than a new livery and an update of the tired business class product.

If they washed their aircraft that would also provide a new livery.

Like lipstick on a pig = pointless exercise.

I know Ai has lots of issues but thta not to stop it growing to reflect the growing size of the Indian economy and the fact that makes Ai an important carrier whether people like or not. you dont have to travel on them if you dont want to , and persoanlly i wouldnt ebcause soem of the comments on here are relevant but if theyare going to by close to 500 aircraft they warrent being in the news surely.

I think I'll give Air India a miss thanks. Not my cup of tea.

(see the thread about a passenger getting a golden shower in business on the South Asia and Far East forum, and how the crew and captain handled it)
